CREDENTIALS

My name is Tom Fontaine and I have been a collector of autographs, contracts, personal items, and memorabilia of the rich and famous such as music icons like the Beatles, Elvis, Hendrix, Morrison, Elton John, and the Monkees to motion picture icons like Tony Curtis (Check out my Pepperhead!), James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Sinatra, and more for over 20 years.

This all started as a hobby more than 40 years ago in 1964. The Beatles were at the top of my list. I bought Beatles cards, magazines, and whatever else I could afford with my weekly allowance.

My collection has expanded to include stage clothing and costumes, movie posters, lobby cards, press kids, rare photographs, stills, proofs, and more!

My passion has now become my business. I offer select collectibles for sale and my expertise in authentication to other collectors. My Beatles autograph study continues to be used by many to understand how an "authenticator" decides what is authentic and what is fraud. This is an extremely valuable tool for you to use when shopping for these remarkable four signatures.

I'm fortunate that my collection has such wonderful items. I am an extremely careful collector. In addition to a lifetime of learning how to tell the real from the "knock-offs", I also use sound judgment and common sense in addition to relying on the provenance that comes with the pieces I purchase. This provenance is always included with the items I see. If you're new to collecting, let me share some thoughts on collectibles and pricing.

To those who have been here before, thanks for your support. To those who are new, have fun with and enjoy the site. I not only look forward to doing business, but talking with those who are curious or have questions. Your questions will NOT bore me. I love to talk about my work because, fortunately, I love it. I look forward to a warm and satisfying business relationship with you.
